Who we are
HumanBots (“HumanBots”, “we”, “us”) is a technology and growth company that helps businesses build, grow, automate and scale. This policy explains what personal information we collect through thehumanbots.co, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
For the purposes of data protection law, HumanBots is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at any time using the details in the last section.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to run the website.
Information you give us

Please don’t send us sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) through the website unless we have specifically asked for it.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider receives standard information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Your preferences: small items stored in your browser, such as your cookie choice and your conversation with the assistant during a visit (see “Cookies and similar technologies”).
- Analytics and advertising data: only if you agree to analytics or marketing cookies, and only through the tools listed in our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, book and hold calls, and send proposals you’ve asked for.
- To provide the services you engage us for.
- To run our programmes, such as reviewing applications.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, if you allow analytics.
- To measure our advertising, if you allow marketing cookies.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Legal bases for using your information
Where laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases:
- Steps before a contract, and the contract itself: replying to enquiries, booking calls, preparing proposals and delivering services.
- Consent: the newsletter, analytics cookies and marketing cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: running and securing the website, preventing spam and following up on enquiries in a way you would reasonably expect.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep or share information by law.
The website assistant
The assistant on our website is an automated helper with pre-written answers. It runs in your browser, and your messages are not sent to us or to an AI service while you chat.
Your conversation is only shared with us if you choose “Leave my details” and submit the form. In that case, we receive your name, email, optional note and a copy of the conversation so we can reply properly.
International transfers
HumanBots works with clients in America, the Middle East and beyond, with team members in the United States and Pakistan. Your information may therefore be accessed from, and stored in, countries other than your own, including by our service providers.
Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, and we limit access to people who need it to do their job.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above:
- Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after 24 months.
- Client records are kept for the length of the relationship and afterwards as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Keeping information secure
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for team members who need it, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and act quickly if something goes wrong.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
If you’re in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we don’t sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising without your consent.
To use any of these rights, email info@thehumanbots.co. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, though we’d appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, services or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we’ll make that clear on the website.
